Carter
FROM THE FOSTER
Carter is adjusting wonderfully to home-life. He is becoming very responsive to commands,seems to be a quick learner, and appears to be fully house trained. His leash skills are not perfect yet but seems to be teachable. He has started to become playful now that he is not feeling so unsure about his surroundings. He loves to lounge around also, and is very affectionate. This sweet dog definitely needs his forever home, where he will settle in wonderfully.
Carter is a 7-8 year old black lab that comes to us from a shelter in South GA. He has been bounced around for the last couple of weeks because of lack of vet space (mainly due to the OVERBLOWN canine influenza scare), so he had to go to an outdoor boarding facility in the area until we could bring him in for vetting. Heâs ready now and was lucky enough to find a foster home where heâs doing well with their dog. Heâs housetrained and she is working to crate train him, but hopefully as a senior he wonât need to be crated much.
