Chaplin is a 4 year old chocolate lab mix that one of our volunteers met at the vet. He had just been surrendered to the shelter and they were bringing him in to have shots updated. Chaplin looked so sad and like a fish out of waterâ¦clearly he had lost everything and didnât know why he was there or what was ahead for him. The volunteer could not get the meeting out of her mind and called to see if we could take him.
Chaplin is about 4 years old and very much a people dog. Heâs well behaved but a strong dog and needs an athletic owner. Heâs housetrained and great in the house. He lacks confidence around other dogs, so he has to be introduced slowly. He is in a home with another dog but it took a few days for him to get comfortable.
Chaplin is not big but heâs strong so he needs a dog savvy owner. A totally devoted boy, heâll make someone a great dog.
