Harley

Labrador Retriever - Young - Male
Adopted Medium Spayed/NeuteredUp-to-date with routine shotshousetrained

Harley was hit by a car and picked up from the side of Cobb Parkway by
Animal Control several months ago. As it turns out he had a broken femur
bone and crushed pelvis and his leg had to be amputated. We were able to
find a wonderful foster home where he could convalesce quietly for a couple
of months.

Once he was healed, it was obvious that he needed some emotional healing as
well and we were able to find another wonderful foster with a dog named
Freeway, who also had been rescued from the side of the road. The two dogs
hit it off and Freeway was able to pull Harley out of his shell. He’s ready
to go to a forever home now but it will need to be a special home that will
be very patient with him and they’ll need to have another dog friend as
well. If you would like to find out more about him, please email
