It’s time to grab your running shoes, leash up your favorite four-legged friend, and join us for the 12th Annual Atlanta Lab Rescue 5K!
This special event brings together Lab lovers, runners, walkers, families, and friends for a fun morning in the park—all while raising critical funds to help Atlanta Lab Rescue save dogs in need and place them in loving forever homes.
Run or walk a beautiful 5K through Shirley Clarke Franklin Park and enjoy a fun, dog-friendly morning with fellow dog lovers.
Every registered participant receives a long-sleeve race shirt, and we’ll also recognize some of our fastest runners and four-legged finishers with awards, including:
Top male and female finishers
Age-group winners
Top 3 finishing dogs
Can’t make it to Atlanta? No problem! A virtual race option is available, so you can participate from wherever you are. Virtual participants will have their race shirts mailed after the event. Be sure to stick around after the race! Some of our adorable, adoptable Atlanta Lab Rescue dogs will be there to celebrate with us. You never know—you might leave with a new best friend!

Entry fee: $35 (increases after October 18, 2026). Every registration helps provide the food, medical care, shelter, and other resources our rescue dogs need while they wait for their forever families. Whether you’re aiming for a personal best, taking a leisurely stroll, or simply coming out to cheer on the participants, you’re making a difference for dogs in need.
