Heath is a 1 year old chocolate lab mix that was picked up off the road by a shelter in South GA. His tail was badly damaged and they feared he had been hit by a car. They found the owners, who promptly returned him to his pin with no mention of medical care, so the shelter took him back. We took him the next day and sent him to our vet. A small section of his tail needed to be amputated and he had a fractured pelvis that would heal on its own. Heâs been in a home for his rehab and has done well being an indoor dog.
