MORE FROM THE FOSTER!
Lillie is an incredibly sweet dog, considering the way that she was treated prior to being rescued. She has been in playgroups with other dogs in boarding, but she can get a little too excited around other dogs and it escalates so sheâd do best as an only dog. She loves people, and is very playful. We love going outside to run around, go out for a walk or just play tug-of-war with one of her toys. She is house and crate trained and has adjusted well to our busy schedule.

-Iâve gotten her in a pretty good routine, though, and sheâs been great at figuring out when itâs time to settle down or entertain herself!
-She already knew âsitâ but now she also knows âdownâ and weâre working on âstay.â Sheâs very smart!
-I took her on another run on a less crowded trail and she did great! Sheâs great on the leash when there are no distractions.
I love her so much! Sheâs an amazing dog with a friendly and playful personality!
Lilly is a little angel! She has been great in the house and has had no accidents. She is very laid-back and enjoys snuggling, chewing on her bone, and helping in the kitchen. Despite how she was treated in the past, she LOVES people. At our holiday party last night she cuddled up with just about everyone!
Lilly is a 4 year old, 39 pound lab mix that has lived her entire life chained to a post with no shelter from the heat or cold. After many attempts to get the owners to comply with the chaining laws, animal control was finally able to confiscate her and charge them with cruelty. In spite of the hand she was dealt, she simply loves people and cannot get enough cuddles and attention. She is understandably wary of other dogs, which is common when a dog has been chained up.
This time around we want to make sure she gets a home where people will treat her well and truly care about her. Her room in boarding is the closest thing she has had to a home, and she is very well behaved and tidy.
