Sam came to us last year from Fulton County shelter. He was in bad shape and had a few medical issues, but he was happy and silly and ALL lab. He was adopted by a family back in August and they nursed him through heartworms and with good food and care he is now the new and improved 90 pound Sam!
Unfortunately, he is still ALL lab and his antics and appetite have made it difficult for this family with two small children to be able to keep him any longer. A child with snacks in his hands or in his backpack, or food accidently left on the counter means an opportunity for a snack for Sam. He is wonderfully patient and kind with the kids and good with people and other dogs, but keeping up with it all has become overwhelming for his family and they need to find Sam another home.
