Yeager

From the Foster:

Friendship isn’t about whom you have known the longest its about who came and never left your side….This is what comes to mind when describing this amazing dog “Yeager.” Yeager is ABSOLUTELY one of the friendliest, happiest, sweetest, most loving, most deserving dogs, I have ever had the privilege hanging out with. He is the epitome of special! Yeager is a dog that LOVES children and adults and attention. At the last adoption he was front and center to make sure everybody saw him and he did not let many people go by without giving them a lick or a greeting. Yeager is quite the cuddlier, I would try to sit down and this boy was either in my lap or trying to climb on my lap in some shape or form. Yeager is completely crate-trained (although I don’t think he will need to be in a crate long) and house trained. If you are looking for your next 4-legged friend and have lots of love and attention to give, consider adding Yeager to your family it will be one of the best decisions you will ever make. He is one AMAZING guy!

Yaeger, is an 8 year old pit mix who spent his years at the end of a chain. He was on the property with a lab that was living in a pen. The owner got sick and had to move in with family and the dogs were living on the empty property until they contacted us about taking the lab, which we did, and of course we weren’t going to leave Yaeger behind.

Yaeger was the epitome of neglect. Its sad that he has lived such lonely, isolated life subjected to storms, snow and sweltering summer heat, but those days are over. Yaeger is warm and dry, but is now in boarding and would love a foster home. Having lived his life on a chain, as a sitting duck for other animals, he was understandably not comfortable around other dogs, but we have gotten him out with other dogs every day and he’s getting more and more comfortable (neutering him helped too…).
