We saw Sammy the lab on this site. Is he still available and do you know how old he is? We are very much interested in him. Thank you.

Hello and thank you for your inquiry. A few things…rescue is very fluid. We keep our website as updated as possible for which dogs are available, ages and more. If an age range isn’t indicated, we may not have that information just yet. If you are interested in this dog or another, the best thing to do is to complete the application and submit it so we can put you in the system for consideration. Without a completed application, we really cant do much! This is our process.
Thank you again and you can complete an application from our website under “How To Adopt”.

      Hi Nancy,
Great question! 98% of our adoptions are to folks in the Atlanta and surround areas, or the southeast in general. It is possible for us to adopt out of state however the logistics can be more challenging. As with any adoption, we need to have a home check done or valuation from your vet, if any at this time. We do not transport dogs so you would need to come to Atlanta. Also, many of our dogs are in foster homes, so you would need to be able to come to an adoption event to see our dogs as well. Not impossible however more steps. We are an all volunteer group. Also, keep in mind that we do not adopt puppies out of state.

The first and best step is to complete an application.

Thank you for your interest in our great dogs!
